How To Use CDT Player

Playing CDT Files

  1. Browse the collection on the homepage or search for a specific file
  2. Click the play button ▶ on the player control for the CDT you want to hear
  3. The audio will begin playing the tape loading sounds
  4. Use the progress bar to skip to different parts of the tape
  5. Click the reset button ◀ to restart from the beginning

Exploring CDT Tracks

  1. Click the playlist button ≡ next to any player to show the track list
  2. The tracks show the data blocks contained in the CDT file
  3. Different colors indicate different types of data:
    • Green: Standard data blocks
    • Yellow: Turbo loading blocks
    • Purple: Pure data blocks
  4. Click on any track to jump to that position in the audio

Downloading Files

  1. Use the format buttons to download the file in your preferred format:
    • CDT: Original CDT file (for use with emulators)
    • WAV: High-quality uncompressed audio
    • FLAC: Lossless compressed audio
    • MP3: Smaller lossy compressed audio

Uploading Your Own CDT Files

  1. Navigate to the Upload page
  2. Click "Choose CDT File" to select a file from your computer
  3. Click "Upload" to add it to your personal collection
  4. Once uploaded, you can play and download your CDT files in various formats

Note: Uploaded files are private to your browser session

Searching and Filtering

  1. Use the search box at the top of the page to find specific files
  2. Click on the letter buttons to filter by first letter
  3. Use pagination to navigate through multiple pages of results
